Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, transferred his weekly wage to the Fund of assistance to the victims of flood in July 2008 in the western regions of Ukraine.
The Head of Ukrainian Parliament appealed to the People´s Deputies with a request to uphold his initiative, and address The Verkhovna Rada Secretariate with a request to transfer the funds for elimination of consequences of flood in the regions of natural disaster.
"The lists of the People´s Deputies who submitted relevant appeals will be published. People should know those on whose assistance and support they can rely in difficult situation", - stated A.Yatseniuk.
